How to prepareThe steak comes frozen so thaw in the refrigerator slowly – for two to three days so it is properly defrosted. Take it out of the vacuum wrapping and use a paper towel to pat it dry.
Give it about an hour to reach room temperature. Before you start cooking it, heavily salt and pepper both sides.
Oven should be heated to 135–150 C.
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil to medium-high heat. Tomahawk steak should be seared for two to three minutes per side.
Put the meat on the roasting pan's rack. Oven cook food to the desired doneness. (About 45 minutes at 50C for rare; 45-50 minutes at 60 C for medium-rare; and 50-55 minutes at 63 C for medium.
Pull it out of the oven, put some foil on top and let it rest ten to fifteen minutes before serving.
Keep in the freezer.
