Description
Storage
Place the whole fruit in the refrigerator and it will last up to two to three weeks. Once the seeds have been removed, they will stay fresh for a few days if refrigerated but can be frozen in an airtight bag for up to one year.
How to prepare
Cut the rind (the pointy bit) off the pomegranate and then slice into quarters. Place the quarters in a bowl of water, this makes it easier and less messy to separate the seeds from the membrane. Remove the membrane and skin and strain the water to get your seeds.
