Our Bags Content

Our bags contain roughly 60% vegetables and 40% fruits. Most of what they contain comes from Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand, and occasionally from Australia.

This is a six months program with a two months' notice period. By signing up, you are supporting small local farmers and giving them a much needed visibility. This in turns allows about 40% saving on food waste: indeed, what is being grown will be eaten for sure. :)

Note that a $200 deposit will be required. This deposit will be sent back to you when you leave the program, provided you give us a two months' notice. The notice is to allow us time to find someone to take over your share.

We have four sorts of bags:

  • the 5kg bag contains one week of organic goodness for two adults and one or two (young) children. We keep a focus on the Dirty Dozen (the twelve fruits and vegetables that are the most polluted when grown in a non-organic environment), and we are adding a few nice produces:
Vegetables
Tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes and/or sweet potatoes almost weekly. Every other week: zucchinis, carrots and eggplants. Occasionally: sweet corn, pumpkin, butternut pumpkin, cauliflower, baby spinach, kale, capsicums, leaks, ginger.

Fruits
Most weeks you will get bananas. Depending of the season, we will be able to include a selection of the following: apples, pears, oranges, grapefruits, pineapples, coconut, papaya, passion fruits, etc.

  • the 7kg Standard bag was created for bigger families and goes really nicely with the 3kg Premium bag. We kept a focus on the Dirty Dozen, and you will find a mix of the following items, whenever available:

  • The 6kg Paleo Diet bag was designed especially for our members who have health issues they are healing with the Paleo Diet (i.e.: auto immune disease and other food intolerances). The content of the bag is a mix of the 5kg bag with our 3kg Premium bag, but we have removed all the night shades vegetables. This mix allows the best variety available. You can read more here about the Paleo diet.
